WHO IS DORIAN HAWTHORNE? (SERIOUSLY)​​​

When disaster leads to a mass migration of refugees from Lee and Gilweather, survivors from both planets huddle together on Erroside, the last place humans can call home (so they say). 

 

Both refugee colonies now answer to Erroside’s Council and an unpredictable, half-bionic ruler who answers to no one. Smack in the center of his kingdom is the beating heart of Errosidian pride: a giant, floating arena designed for matches full of bots, bionic beasts, and battle royales.

 

Behind all the spectacle and assurance of protection, many can’t shake the feeling that Erroside is hiding something. But the Errosidians aren’t the only ones with secrets…

 

One Gilweather couple harbors a mysterious, orphaned teen assigned to them after the migration. With no memories of his life before the disaster and migration, Dorian Hawthorne has no explanation for the incredible abilities he possesses that would make him a champion in the arena and a threat to Errosidian control. When hiding his powers ultimately fails and Erroside threatens the people he loves, Dorian agrees to a forced arrangement to perform in the arena for the crowds.

 

While Dorian wonders what to do to save his friends and his own skin from the Errosidian time-bomb he knows is ticking, a mysterious source on the inside starts leaving him cryptic messages indicating they are not alone in the universe after all. Dorian will have to make a choice between playing it safe and risking everything to protect his friends and find answers to their questions about the universe and Dorian’s true identity.
